Losing weight is NOT easy, as you may have found out.  But, with a determination and persistance ANYONE can lose weight and keep it off.  The first important lesson that YOU need to understand is the reason you need or want to lose weight.  The second important lesson you must understand is WHAT made you over-weight?  Being pregnant and gaining an extra 50 lbs. is one thing.  Twenty years of bad eating and living habits is quite another.  Both are possible, one takes more work than the other--but than anything worth while takes work down here on this Earth, right?

Throughout this page I am going to give you links, tips, tricks and general advice that are proven over time to help ANYONE lose weight that has a REAL desire to do so.  Let's face it if you have the desire YOU will achieve your goal.  If you are giving lip service to me or anyone else without TRUE intentions...well no one can help you.  That's really the bottom-line.  If you feel that YOU need help and you have a REAL desire than here is a link that can start you down the correct path:  Weight-loss management

Sometimes when gaining weight you need someone or something to keep pointing you in the right direction (giving you support), Weight-Watcher's is a proven support group that offers more than moral support they also have meal plans and other weight-loss management plans.  If you don't have time to go to Weight-Watcher's or you are a Do-it-yourselfer than I recommend a home plan similar to Weight-Watcher's called "Trim Body System Kit". 

How I started in the weight-loss business:  A Customer of mine (we will call him John Bob) use to frequent my business.  He was an average sized oriental man--that was NOT happy with his life.  He never smiled, his body shape was that of a pear.  He'd show up in the mornings usually going to work, driving his little blue Ford Fiesta, never smiling, rarely talking, just living from day-to-day, existing, guess you might say--NOT living.  Then some time went by and I didn't see John Bob.  Not that I really noticed, cause he wasn't one of those type of people that you noticed, he just blended in.  A few months went by, didn't see him.  Then one day, I was busy and this guy comes bounding in to pay for his fuel, I didn't even look up to this guy saying, "Hi!  How are you?".  Didn't recognize the voice (remember John Bob rarely spoke), well till now. 

Weight-Loss Tea

"Ah, doing fine.", I answered, as I took his credit card, not looking up, didn't know who it was till I noticed the name on the card (I always looked at the names for some reason), it read 'John Bob'.  "Wow!", I thought to myself, "he speaks!".  But, even more amazing than that, when I looked up, John Bob was NOT the same John Bob I knew a few months prior.  He'd lost a lot of weight and he'd put muscle on around his upper body.  He was no longer pear shaped!

I asked him, "Hey, John how'd you do it?  I mean lose the weight?  And, why are you soooo happy now?"

He didn't have time to answer me, but he said, "Ancient oriental secret...I tell you later.", and winked at me as he left.

Well, later did come and what he had to tell me surprised me, he whispered in my ear, "Ok, you want to know ancient oriental secret?", course I shook my head in the affirmative, "Ancient oriental secret is...eat less, work more, work more, eat less!  Get it?", he slapped me on the back and bounced off to his new found life.  Later he did open up to me to tell me what types of foods and things he was doing, but his core statement held true, to honestly lose weight, you must eat less (of what you was eating) and work more (burn more energy), that's just the way our bodies were created.  But, to make things easier if you don't know where to start here is a link on some of the foods that John Bob started with, or some of the ways to prepare and eat food the Paleo way.

John Bob got to know me as time went on and I got to know him better, I found out that he was a diebetic and that he hated the insulin shots and other prescriptions that he was told he HAD to take or he would lose his life.  He told me how changing what he ate and HOW he ate it changed his life and he was able to throw away his medications--including the insulin shots and that the last check-up he had his Doctor was shocked at the findings--his diebetes was down to tollerable levels--near normal and that insulin shots would NOT be needed!  He also shared with me another one of his secrets.  "See...", he said, "...you do not have to eat American food always.  Much of your food here is filled with fat, and oil, and stuff that makes a person fat.  But, there is much that you can eat that is good for your body, that will start your metabolism to work for you and not against you...here is one such food the acai berry", he handed me a strange looking berry and then gave me a bottle of acai berry max and continued, "Now don't take any of the bad acai berry, you must take the pure berry, not the watered down version"  But he also said I need to do my research because acai berry wasn't the only berry that supplied anti-oxidants that helps speed metabolisms up.  So, I checked out this site: webmd at this site it tells me that blue berries and cran berries can do the same for me.  So, instead of spending lots of money on some unknown berry I simply buy blue berries and munch on them during the day.  Or, I drink pure cran berry juice (have to find this at an organic store) because you don't want the cran berry juice with high fructose corn syrup or any corn syrup added to it. 

Time continued to slip by, and I continued to notice John Bob, he not only lost a huge amount of weight, weight that he'd had since he was a child, but he'd put on muscle and he was keeping the weight off!  One day he came in driving a sporty red convertible, prior to this vehicle he'd always been driving around a dark blue Ford Fiesta (terrible little cars) anyhow, he was now driving this cool car, looked great physically and sitting in the passenger seat was a beautiful blond woman (John Bob had never dated prior that I knew off)  Now here he was living life the way life was meant to live.  Here's some of the secrets to how he put muscle in place of his fat.  And, here is another tip or trick for losing weight--it's easy, fun, informational and will open your eyes up to so much truth about the food here in America that you may want to learn more--READ THE LABELS!  You heard me right, John Bob said many times, "Keep it simple--the calories don't matter, the carbs don't matter, what matters is what is IN the food or drinks that we put into our body--if it has artificial anything, or hydrogenated oil, or food coloring or long words that nobody understands DO NOT EAT OR DRINK IT!"  Basically, if you just read the labels and only put into your body natural, wholesome food and drink your body will begin to respond.  Stay away from High fructose corn syrup, or processed sugars.  Give up your vices one at a time.  Keep focused and start with small steps gaining momentum as your see progress.  And, remember progress can be as simple as cutting out one "BAD" food item from the food and drink you put into your body.  The scale is NOT the sole source of progress.  Just knowing that your body is taking in one less "BAD" food source is progress that you can pat yourself on the back for.  Do this for 30 days and YOU will see a remarkable difference, not only in your weight-loss but in your mood, your energy levels, your happiness inside of you.  Because YOU will know that you are making progress that will last the rest of your life, not just until the diet pill bottle runs out.  YOU will know HOW to lose weight and to keep it off.  Essentially YOU will learn how to take care of your body the way our Maker meant.  Educate yourself, READ THE LABELS!
